The well-being of our hens is always our top priority. Our farms are United Egg Producer (UEP) Certified under a set of rigorous standards designed to promote the highest scientific levels of hen welfare. Bob Krouse was instrumental in the development and implementation of these guidelines, in which all MPS Egg Farms team members are trained today.  

With the help of our private veterinarian and nutritionist, we also perform quarterly surveys of our farms to gain a better understanding of the factors influencing animal welfare at each location. We use this data to help us develop a more comprehensive understanding of hen health and welfare, and to guide our flock management decisions.
